Terrier care is a school-based clinic that provides any services you would find yourself attending urgent care for with the addition of mental health services. That would include, physicals, immunizations, contraception, dental services, and various counseling services. 

Nurse Felicia Kimbrough talks about what working in terrier care means for her.

  “The most rewarding part about working here at terrier care is being part of the terrier family and being able to keep students healthy and well so that they can be the best student they can be and so that their time is spent here learning and navigate the healthcare system,

 We pride ourselves on teaching students to be advocates for their own health. So, when they enter adulthood, they’re seeking out healthcare services, and they aren’t afraid to understand” 

The Terrier care staff makes it clear they take pride in caring for the students here at CCHS in all that they do. Having a clinic here like terrier care really gives students the certainty that they always have somewhere to go and feel comfortable when it comes to their healthcare needs.
