2025 seniors prepared for the last game of the 2025 season. Takes on Mascoutah for their last kick off. The emotional, celebratory aspects, also highlighting of the players achievements, The lessons learned , The tough times these terriers had. All the laughs and cries they had was to build character and who they are striving to be in the future.
“Football was not my passion but playing on the Carbondale Terriers field made me realize that it’s more than just a ball in football,” Dewayne King said.
King enjoyed the all you could eat hotdogs on Thursdays and the team bonding he had with all the other players. King hated going to practice but every day was a big life changer for him.
Are you planning on taking football far in the future?
Tariq Marsh, plans on taking football to the next level, he enjoyed the team encouragement and from him “trying to be harder than the other players” made him feel like he had potential to take it farther than he could ever imagine.
“Every year is a different year” “ Coach Brian Lee said. This year was a really great group of seniors. “As a coach it’s always going to have some feeling towards it because for the whole 4 years they are your kids then they are on their own after being a senior”. Lee said
