October 4, 2018
High School is where it all starts. Yes, the title says it all! It’s that time in your life where you will be getting your first car. Now, picking your first car is very indecisive and is a huge deal. Obviously you want the best car on the lot but you also want the most reliable car for future references. Here are five thing you need to know about your car before buying it.
1.) Your MPG
Your MPG is your Miles Per Gallon, this tells you how far you can travel using a single gallon. If your looking for a luxury sport, an Audi is a good sports car that’s gotta good MPG. I know cause I own one personally, but if you’re looking for a car that’s reliable and really good on gas, then your best bet would have to be a Toyota, Chevrolet, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Kia or Ford.
2.) What kind of Gas and Fluids Does Your Car Take
The type of gas and fluids your car can take can be highly expensive depending on the type. Like for an example some sport cars such as Audi and the newer Dodge Challenger takes premium gas, which is 30 cents or more per gallon and gas now and days usually cost 2.75 a gallon or more depending on where you stay at. So some cars save you money when it come to stuff like that so that’s one thing to think about.
3.) Check Your Credit Score
Knowing your credit score can be really helpful. It can help negotiate a good deal that can save you hundreds or, thousands of dollars!
4.) Ask About Fees
Whether you’re buying from a dealership or an individual, make sure to budget for all the necessary costs. Things like sales tax, registration, documentation fees stuff like that are all important thing to look at when asking about the fees of the car.
5.) Service And Repair History
This is one of the major things to look at while seeking to buy a car. When you get a car i’m pretty sure someone like a parent or teacher have told you that it’s best to keep our service check up consistent to keep track of what wrong and stuff like that. Repair history is important unless your a guy like me that buys car that are messed up and fix them up and keep them as “Project Cars.” Other than that, repair history is a huge deal. You want to know all this stuff so you could keep an eye one that particular part for me, I have a project car 2003 BMW E46 330ci that’s been having problems with the clutch fan ever since the last owner. It recently stopped working again and made my car overheat.
Alrighty, I think its time for you to go out there and get them! After these facts I hope you find I car that fits you the right way. I hope you find the car of your dreams !
