Senior picture day, a very important and memorable day for both parents and students. This day isn’t like other typical picture days, it’s the beginning of your chapter in life. Not much changes for where the pictures are taken, as they are still in the Carbondale High School gym. As when it is different, seniors take their pictures weeks after staff and other grades. Why is this? This is because senior pictures are the last pictures you take before starting your chapter outside of high school.
“It’s the last year of high school,” Senior Kathleen Loyola said. “ For students when they look back, the most important years are freshman and senior year.”
Senior picture day for the class of 26’ was on Sep 30th. The pictures were taken in the front gym entrance, this lasted the entire school day. Seniors were sent out of their government classes for their pictures, if they didn’t the pictures were taken on their own time. Everyone was also given a slip of paper that had the seniors name and qr code to access their pictures once they were processed and available.
