Friday, September 26th at Carbondale community high school the terriers football team prep for the game against the centralia orphans. With the stakes of this game being high and determining the path ahead for making the playoffs.
Coach Lee, the head coach of the football team, says that he knows with “all the summer, the long practices and late practices that we have the skill and the heart to show we are a better team.” said Lee
Then we were and if we can manage to pull this win other our belt we will be one step closer to the playoffs. Coach Campos the defense coach works pods and many more things to help players work coverage to prepare for the game.
Our defense is refined and works with good technique that ready us for games but overall the Terriers football team values the experience because of the love we have for each other and for the game.
“All i need is all you got” said Campos this saying, M.O.D.E. which means Make Our Defense Elite are the repetitive motions and actions that are practiced by the Carbondale Terrier football team in a sort of discipline.
Davin Wooley the starting QB always always making sure to bolster the teams energy and spirits before every game with his love for the game even after a loss he still wants to put in work and be better.
“I just wanna have fun and ball out because no one wants to be a part of the team or group that they don’t enjoy,” said Wooley .
