English 4 Journalism is one of the senior English classes offered here at CCHS. This class is perfect if you want to learn how to write articles and video stories. In this class, you get to learn what it means to be a journalist and how to write and make good articles for our school’s website. You’ll also learn how to write different types of articles like features that talk about interesting topics to news articles that give you information about what’s happening in our community and school.

Taking this class will give you a taste of what real world journalists do on a daily basis and what it’s actually like. You’ll learn how news reporters gather information, interview people and put together articles that are accurate and true. 

It also teaches you that being a journalist comes with a lot of responsibilities like making sure your information is right and making sure your articles are also ethical.
