Carbondale Community High School is  filled with approximately 1,000 students. Compared to the other schools around the area CCHS is very diverse in what type of students that go here. There are many different things to do and learn, alway an opportunity to do something and get involved in the community. There are many teachers with different experiences at CCHS that are all willing to learn and help the students grow. 

“The biggest one is going to be we have such a diverse student population, that I get to learn about different people from different places. We have very collaborative environment with our students and the fact that we have that kind of community that we do that we get to see our students again after graduation and see what all their success are and what they’re doing now,” Buss said.

“There are some really awesome students. Like most teaching jobs of course you get your holidays off, which is always nice. It’s not too far from home, it’s a beautiful campus and there is a lot of support from administration and through various grants to upgrade and provide equipment and lessons that are relevant and exciting,” Moberley said.
