Homecoming Spirit Week!

Homecoming+Spirit+Week%21

Every year, CCHS throws together this event called a Homecoming dance and everyone gets excited. It starts with ticket sales, then a Spirit Week (where every student dresses up and looks goofy), then comes the dance. Lets take a second to talk about this spirit week thing.

Even though spirit week has been the same thing EVER SINGLE YEAR, it’s a lot of fun to see everyone dress up and show their school spirit.

First, it starts with Pajama Day on Monday. You’re able to crawl out of bed and come to school in your comfy robes and slippers.

Tuesday is the option to be sporty and rock your favorite jersey. Whether it’s football, basketball, soccer, or even baseball, you get to show off the team you support the most.

Wednesday of this year will class distinction, which consists of each grade dressing up a different category. This year, Freshman will dress up as nerds, Sophomores will be twins, Juniors clashing clothes and Seniors in togas looking like the finest God or Goddess.

Since this year’s Homecoming theme is Neon Paradise, you get to come to school in beach attire on Thursday. This day might be a little difficult for most due to the fact that we still have to follow dress code rules.

Lastly, comes Friday where we see you has the most school spirit: class color day. On this day, every one get to dress up and be a part of the rainbow. Personally, this is my favorite day only because I try outdo everyone. From wearing face paint to lock socks and a tutu, by far this day has always been my favorite day.

Since Spirit Week is just around the corner, I encourage you to participate and have as much fun as you can. Show your Terrier Pride!
