Welding is a class taught to help students expand their knowledge and skill. Welding is a process of two or more parts fused together by heat or even pressure, usually metal, thermoplastics, or even wood. It’s used in many modern day constructions. The teacher who currently teaches welding, Levi Biedermann, who also teaches art, sculpture and photography and Alec shields a teacher and student explains what welding is like and if welding is enjoyable
“Welding is like you’re bonding things that wouldn’t normally bond together. You’re creating [a] structure that is strong and safe and secure [by] using heat and power and a little bit of magic… in a sense, what is welding like? It is awesome.”
“Yes, I enjoy it. I’ve been doing it for 4 or 5 years now. It took me a lot of time and practice, but I’ve gotten pretty familiar with it. I wouldn’t say I’m good at it, but I can make it look good.”
