The technology in Mr. Apples class is good but mostly dated. These devices have been here for around a 4 years. These four old devices are starting to show their age by randomly crashing or powering down.
However, in recent events, Mr. Apple has replaced his headphones with new ones. And the old head phones might’ve been in use for around the same time as the computers. These problems could range from connectivity issues to purely not turning on. Mr. Apple, a CCHS teacher has his own opinion about the matter saying: “The computers are good quality. However, the problems stem from students unplugging these devices and not properly shutting them down.” Meaning if a student completely unplugged their computer and didn’t shut it off normally it could mess with some software or hardware that could prevent the computer from running correctly.
But even so the computer lab could use some improvements. Some keyboards have missing or broken parts that could be replaced. As for the computers, the school could invest in newer and faster computers that may prohibit any issues that we have with our current computers.
