There are many clubs at CCHS, one of them being the Farkle Club.

Farkle is a board game with 6 dice and a piece of paper. The game is played after school on the Tuesday of every week, with co-presidents Mitchel Brown and Katie Asa.

The club was founded in the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year with the help of Carrie Mueller, a science teacher at the school.

“Me and Mitchel kind of joked about [the club] with Mrs. Mueller for a while, and then she was so excited about it,” Asa said. “She loves this game; she would tell you all about it.”

Meeting in the cafeteria on their meeting dates, they play a game of Farkle with friends from 3:15 pm to 4 pm, or however long it takes to finish.

When rolling the dice, the players need to reach 1000 points to get onto the leader board, needing 10000 points to win the game. Rolling dice that are ones, fives, and triples, get them those points as they play the game and eventually, when they run out of dice that they can’t use as points, they Farkle and it’s the next player’s turn!

The club has expressed interest in expanding and having other Terrier Time classes in the school play, having “leagues” set up for everyone to play.

To join this club, talk to Mitchel Brown, Katie Asa, or Mrs. Mueller in D208.

Rules to the game can be found here.
