Rodvelt Prepares for Final Year

Rodvelt+Prepares+for+Final+Year

One man, one myth, one legend. This is the final year for CCHS teacher Gary Rodvelt.

Mr Rodvelt has taught here for twenty years, starting in 1998. Before this, Rodvelt served twenty five years in the army, with field artillery and biological and chemical nuclear weapons as his main work.

Rodvelt teaches two subjects here, Algebra two and Trigonometry. He has taught around 2200 students, teaching around 110 per year.

The thing Rodvelt will miss most is working with his students and helping them on their academic journey.

“… the interaction between the teacher and the students, I like that more than anything.” Mr. Rodvelt

Rodvelt impacted not only students, but faculty as well, one of his close associates, Michael Dollins, knows this very well.

“I am who I am today because of Mr Rodvelt. [Rodvelt], you will be missed.” Michael Dollins

Mr Rodvelt was a fantastic teacher here at CCHS and he has aided countless students in their quest for knowledge.

We wish Mr Rodvelt well in his future endeavors and hope he knows that his absence will be felt across the campus.
