Carbondale Community High boys basketball team has been on the grind for a better season due to their record last year, (7-16) and (2-8) in The South Seven Conference. Carbondale was also very young, but had some outstanding seniors that guided them and taught what to prepare for next year and how to prepare 

Currently, Carbondale has got a new coach: Former Professional Basketball Player Lee Nailon. Lee Nailon is an American professional basketball player who played six seasons in the National Basketball Association. He was the 2007 Israeli Basketball Premier League MVP. In 2011, he was the top scorer in the Israel Basketball Premier League. He had an All-American college career at Texas Christian University.  

Coach Nailon has been driving the terriers day by day. “BE DIFFERENT ON THE COURT. Off the court be you,” Nailon said. The Teams seems to respect and like the work ethic he is putting them through

Carbondale Terriers are still young with the players of: Jeremiah Tate(SR), Decarl Payne(JR)    Jaden Patterson(JR), Reonte Walker(SR), Landon Love(JR), Jaden Love(JR) Tennell Greene (JR) 

The Terries Have been outdoing themselves all summer individually and as a team “ I think they’re decently challenging at first but once you get in shape they get a lot easier”, Payne Said. The Terriers also have been going to Cryo For Recovery on their bodies once a week

The Carbondale Terriers First game is November 21, 20022 In the Roxanna Hoops Invitational
