The K POP dance club is one of the most unrecognized clubs at CCHS but they have made a lot of appearances. The K pop dance club has been around since 2018.

K-pop(Korean popular music) is a popular genre of music originating from South Korea. K-pop contains many different genres of music such as hip-hop, electronic dance, jazz, rock and many more.  K-pop originated in the 1980’s  due to the influence of western culture. Modern K-pop emerged in the 90’s when So Taiji and the Boys rejected a song titled “I Know” which  reached the top of the charts for 17 weeks. 

The K POP dance club is hosting a fundraiser Friday, April 8th and Monday-Tuesday April 11th and 12th. They will be selling candy filled eggs for 50¢. The money from the fundraiser will go towards purchasing uniforms for future performances.
