Top Six Things to Have at the Movie Theater
November 5, 2019
Going to the movie theater is great for a rainy day, a late night, or maybe there’s a huge new film you can’t wait to see. Of course you want to be comfortable as possible and there are several things that can make you have the best experience, even if the movie isn’t that great.
Popcorn: How could you watch a movie without it? It has become a classic staple for anytime you are watching a movie. It’s so nice to just sit there and absent mindedly eat a seemingly bottomless bucket of buttery goodness.
Slushie: There’s nothing better than washing down the saltiness from the popcorn down with a cold ICEE. I personally think blue raspberry is the best if there only the classic flavors available. Sometimes they have other fun flavors like mango, which is also very good.
Nachos: From my experience, the nachos are really good at the movie theater in Carbondale. The cheese is actually good and they give you more than enough chips. They are very filling and also go well with the slushie. Plus you can get jalapenos!
Candy: If you have a big sweet tooth and need an excuse to eat more candy, the movie theater is the perfect way to do it. If you aren’t super hungry then you could just get candy and a drink which still gives you something while enjoying the movie.
Blanket: The movie theater is almost always cold, and when you forget a blanket you’re sad. Even if it’s not freezing, having a blanket makes you feel more at home and relaxed. Next time, don’t forget your favorite one!
A friend or significant other: Going to a movie alone probably isn’t that fun. Having someone to go with or maybe even cuddle with makes it more of a treat. You can share the snacks and blanket if you want too!
