In today’s generation we all want the best looking car possible and to do that you need to modify it right ? Well, I’m here to tell you about most of the mods you see that are common and illegal. So, let’s jump right in.

1.) Window Tint
Window tint to me is the most common modification for everyone. Tint laws vary from state to state, as is also the only car modification law everyone knows about but still disobeys. The reason why they say tint is illegal is to prevent kidnapping and abductions, to prevent drivers from escaping security cameras, and more.

2.)  Plate Frames
Yeah I know, funny, right? But yes these are indeed also illegal. If any piece of the frame is covering number and or letters on your license plate then it is illegal so before you decide to pimp out your Toyota Corolla, be smart about picking your plate frames.

3.) Exhaust

Nothing is better than starting your car up at 7 in the morning and waking up all of your friendly neighbors or driving down the road and your parents can still hear you driving across the town. Now, this is my kind of mod. There are certain states that has a policy about mufflers and stuff and if you don’t know what a muffler, it is a device that muffles the sound of your engine. So for example, in Florida they prohibit excessive exhaust noises which is true cause me and my friends back home always get a ticket for that so that’s always a fun time. Sometimes it doesn’t have to be a state it can just be a certain city! So if you think about popping your car in neutral and just red lining it like your life depends think about what state and city your in.

4.) Under glow

Of course this is a illegal and also out of style but hey, I’m not not complaining. Whatever floats your boat, floats your boat. Up until a pirate fires like 5 cannons at you at once and all of them hit you. Yeah that pretty bad now that you think about it. Underglow is a HUGE cop magnet. It’s not the top but it’s pretty darn close. Under glow is the 2nd most cop attracted modification done to car. They are illegal to prevent people from trying to act like a cop. Yes there are people who do that in their free time.
