There are three Japanese restaurants located in Carbondale. Fujiyama, Yamato Steak House of Japan, and Qin Guan Restaurant. Out of the three places here, Fujiyama has not only the best, most uplifting workers, but also the BEST food that could be cooked right at your table on the hibachi grill. Fujiyama’s has a variety of things you could get on the hibachi grill from the vegetable, chicken, steak, salmon, shrimp, scallop, to the lobster tails.

I personally think this is the best Japanese food around Carbondale and here’s a few reasons why…

• Ambience matters. Soft lightening and peaceful music are encountered throughout the entire restaurant.   

• Clean… Shiny hibachi grill, clean tables, floor mats, table mats abound. Everything’s clean before you get there and clean before you leave. Most importantly there are clean restrooms and dishes.

• Affordable Prices… Everything’s a reasonable price. It only costs $14 to eat on the hibachi grill. Let’s not forget to mention the portion of food is great. Eat some now and you’ll definitely have some left for later.  Fujiyama’s is not like most Japanese food spots. 

• Excellent Service… Customers are greeted with smiles the whole time your there till you leave. The servers almost always make sure you have what you need in just the perfect amount of time.
