The Weird Laws You May or May Not Already Be Breaking in Illinois

Being that I’ve lived in Illinois for a majority of my life I have compiled a list of weird laws that you may or may not already be breaking.

In Decatur, it’s against the law to drive a car without a steering wheel

Not that you would get very far by breaking this law.

In Normal, it is illegal to make faces at a dog.

Guilty as charged.

It’s against the law in Bloomington to feed the birds if you live within a mile of the downtown square.

Birds are scary anyways.

In Horner, it is against the law to use a slingshot unless you are a law enforcement officer.

We’ve heard it is our first Amendment right to bear arms, what about them slingshots though?

In Chicago, it is illegal to take your french poodle to the opera.

But if you have a labradoodle you should be good to enjoy the show with them.

In Chicago, it is also illegal to go fishing in your pajamas

Wear an overpriced Columbia vest instead.

It is illegal to eat in a burning building.

I don’t know about you guys, but I like my food extra hot.
